A Slimmer, Healthier Me

This is about me and my weight loss journey. I am not only losing weight, but I'm also removing toxins from my body. Post my diet, I will be following a structured healthy way of eating, which I have been following before the Master Cleanse or Maple Syrup Diet. The thing is, I'm not exactly fat - but I have gained quite a bit of weight which I would like to lose. During my 1st cleanse I managed to lose 22.5lbs /10.2 kg and learn a lot. I'm into my third cleanse now.

Day 3 CYCLE 4
Yessssssssss I made it, I made it . . . ..... and I guess I should start doing a little victory dance too. I know it's only 3 days but I have kept my feet on the ground this time, despite my usual going ons. So I'm happy to be finally at Day 3 and have gone down 2.4 kg / 5.29 lbs according to my digital scales which say I was 62 When I started. My mechanicals say I was 61 kg and am now 59 kg - so I am back to where I was before, but I guess my biggest achievement would have to be 55 kg, because I haven't seen that in almost 6 yrs!! Of course I will be happier at 54 and less but to see a number I haven't seen on the scales in 6 yrs is quite something. And hope that will keep me motivated.

I'm a happy bunny I guess. I am actually looking at the atkins book right now, waiting for my slush to kick in while I'm having juice. I love the recipes in this book, even though I am no longer on the ATKINS, I have kept at least one of the recipes as one of my weekly meals - can't fo without. I am going to dig through it, for other delicious things I can have when I finish the fast - hopefully not so oily and those with meat I will definitely supplement with veg etc. I have to say I miss having veg especially parsnips - once you get into this "trying everything" mood you discover some weired and wonderful food.

So for now, I shall get back to doing my work and update later in the day if there's anything to tell. I will measure myself as well later just to ensure the inches are also going down. I'm a little excited and hope I can follow through this time. Another thing, If I am losing roughly 1 -1.2 kg / 2.2 - 2.7 lbs per day then by Tuesday morning I should weigh in at 55 kg maybe? Last time I just stopped - my body resisted but I will be interested to see where it takes me between Wednesday and Friday next week.

Update: 19:42 Yes day 3, I made it . . . Tomorrow is day four and I'm really loving how I'm crusing through this, I guess it's because I have had things to do and partly because I have told myself I really don't want to fail. I'm looking forward to my mini goal - Day 5
