		This is about me and my weight loss journey. I am not only losing weight, but I'm also removing toxins from my body. Post my diet, I will be following a structured healthy way of eating, which I have been following before the Master Cleanse or Maple Syrup Diet. The thing is, I'm not exactly fat - but I have gained quite a bit of weight which I would like to lose. During my 1st cleanse I managed to lose 22.5lbs /10.2 kg and learn a lot.                               |   21 Day Cleanse - DAY 4   | 
                             
                            
                              I obviously didn't make it past day 1 previously so I thought about it and had a fresh start. If you can count the number of times that I have bailed out . . . .
  Anyway, It has been going well so far with a loss of 2.4 kg in the 1st 2 days, but alas mother nature arrived with my monthly gift, I wanted to say "I'm good" - just like in the TV commerical but we all know it doesn't work like that. So after 3 days of the cleanse I have gained from yesterday 0.2 kg. My husband and I reckon it's all water retension. Usually I would quit at this point but I know the benefits of this are huge.
  From experience I know the feeling of shedding off a few pounds and fitting into something you never thought you would. So this is the only thing making me continue at this point, because quite frankly, I'm not sure why I would want to continue when nothing happens during the monthly period phase.
  I thought about it though - I am still taking in the same amount, doing the same things and going to the gym at the weekend. So it must be that I am retaining water and burning some fat somehow. Pictures from a few days ago show that I have lost weight physically at least even if the scales are currently saying other wise. I actually had back rolls but they are gone now - I will post pictures here later. They are actually gone - you can see a difference in 4 days - it must be the fat burning.
  My tummy on the other hand seems significantly smaller but nothing to get over excited about. I am not jumping up and down about anything yet. I have 9 pairs of brand new jeans I have to fit in and so far I have made it into one (just). I know if I stopped now I wont benefit anything from these four days, so I will keep going. I think by day 15 I will be reasonable pleased and I expect great success by that point.
  The days are going really slowly, I guess I need to find things to do so I'm not thinking about this too much. I am not sure when I will post but will definitely have to add pictures to show you my journey this time. |
